A few months ago I upgraded from Magia 5 to Magia 6 and then immediately to Mageia 7. I've kept the system up to date, but am now getting prompts to upgrade to Mageia 7. Is this normal?

rpm -qa | grep -v mga7
martinw wrote:In that list there's a file named "stale_upgrade_in_progress". That gets left behind if the upgrade applet is terminated before the upgrade has finished, to indicate it should have another go. If you are satisfied that your system is fully upgraded, you can delete that file (you'll need root user privileges to do so).
If you want to check if you have any non-upgraded packages, try
- Code: Select all
rpm -qa | grep -v mga7
