[SOLVED]Strange situation after upgrade LibreOffice to ver 6

Postby mackowiakp » Mar 16th, '19, 17:23

After the last update of LibreOffice from ver 5 to 6, it was properly upgraded on one desktop and laptop. But after upgrade on the second PC, LibreOffice icons disappeared from screen and there was not way to run LO at all. I urpme/urpmi LibreOffice but version 5 was installed after that operation. I look to Mageia Software Centre of MCC and eaver there is no ver 6 in list of available LibreOffice packages. All computers has the same M6 ver of OS. Very strange. Any idea what to do?

An update was released but withdrawn:

https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=24309#c13

If you use plasma (or have plasma installed on your system) it should be safe to install the update from core-updates-testing.
