As in the other thread: What exactly does not work? If you do not provide sufficient information for the developers to eventually be able to reproduce yoru issue, then it's not possible for them to fix anything.
You have to be more verbose.

Sorry, but you have to be much more specific what "does not work" mean to you. What installation media did you use, what Mageia version?
What login manager do you use, what exactly happens once you select plasma in login manager, what can you see in the logs, e.g. as root via
Code: Select all
journalctl -ab | tail -1500
once you have started the plasma session.

that is lot of questions lol

I can try answering but ...... I don't remember all that exactly

to be more clear, I download mageia dvd, load it, install plasma ===> not working, so I report problem here to help fix it, because this is open source. I am no expert in plasma, I don't know why is not working. all I do is try to help, but, I am not plasma programmer, cannot do more.

But plspls you don't answer Doktor5000's questions !
what Mageia version?
did you check the Iso integrity ? did you use a DVD or an USB stick?
what hardware, mostly what graphic card? drivers?
Do you have BIOS or UEFI firmware?
What login manager do you use?
did you check the logs? What is the output of
Code: Select all
journalctl -ab | tail -1500
once you have started the plasma session?
No need to be a Plasma dev for that
Thanks

Obviously you see something happen as you can tell Plasma is broken ;)
When the system boots.. you see a boot menu?
Do you then get to a log in screen?
What next?

Call doctor on phone...:

"Hello, doctor. I am sick."

Doctor says: "what are your symptoms?"

"I am sick"

Doctor says: "I asked you for your symptoms?"

"I am sick"

This is a useless exchange, and goes nowhere.

OP was asked to give the symptoms (system, version, OS version, install media, and exactly what is seen to happen when "it doesn't work", and refuses to respond.

So, not worth trying to help.
