bluedevil autostart lxqt mga5rc (solved)

Postby wintpe » May 14th, '15, 17:16

is there a way or workaround to get bluedevil to autostart in mga5 under lxqt

adding /usr/bin/bluedevil-monolithic to session settings , lxqt and wait till lxqt starts only starts it with bluetooth off

regards peter

What does
Code: Select all
rfkill list all
as root show?
Cauldron is not for the faint of heart!
Caution: Hot, bubbling magic inside. May explode or cook your kittens!

Code: Select all
[root@localhost ~]# rfkill list all

1: asus-wlan: Wireless LAN

ive found the entry in the kde settings startup/shutdown to enable it, but it wont stick, keeps unselecting it

i guess this is due to me running just kwin under lxqt

once i right click turn on bluetooth it works fine
restart session or on startup it always goes to bluetooth off.

Weird, might need to reproduce.

Can you also enable it via bluetoothctl ?

found the solution
Code: Select all
/etc/udev/rules.d/10-local.rules

# Set bluetooth power up
ACTION=="add", KERNEL=="hci0", RUN+="/usr/bin/hciconfig hci0 up"

taken from the archlinux site
