Could you please at least describe your issue so that others can understand it?
You are looking for an equivalent to what or for what exactly? What do you mean by modified version?

dib0700 firmware is contained in kernel-firmware-nonfree package:
Code: Select all
[doktor5000@Mageia4 ~]$ urpmf dvb-usb-dib0700-1.20.fw
kernel-firmware-nonfree:/lib/firmware/dvb-usb-dib0700-1.20.fw
kernel-firmware-nonfree:/lib/firmware/dvb-usb-dib0700-1.20.fw

And there's also an dvb-fe-xc5000 firmware in there:
Code: Select all
[doktor5000@Mageia4 ~]$ urpmf 'dvb-fe.*fw'
kernel-firmware-nonfree:/lib/firmware/dvb-fe-xc5000-1.6.114.fw
kernel-firmware-nonfree:/lib/firmware/dvb-fe-xc5000-1.6.114.fw

Maybe what you need is here: http://www.kernellabs.com/firmware/xc4000/ and here: http://www.linuxtv.org/wiki/index.php/P ... Stick_340e

That command seems to be wrong, try these commands one by one.Is that analog or digitv adapter ?.
Code: Select all
w_scan -fc -c PL -x

w_scan -v -fc -c PL -t 3 -x

w_scan -vv -fc -c PL -i 0 -t 3 -x

w_scan -vvv -fc -c PL -i 1 -t 3 -x

w_scan -vvv -fc -c PL -Q 1 -S 0 -i 1 -t 3 -x

If those works you can add >> channels.conf end of that command so it will save it to file.

In Poland we have DVB-T standard H.264 codec, 8-channel MUX. My TV frequency: 634MHz, 698MHz, 746MHz.
w_scan, runs a scan frequency, finds nothing

@ozky: The last scan commands you asked to run only seem to scan for DVB-C ...
