A few updates have been released (perhaps for packages that you don't use). There are several more packages in testing, which will be released as soon as QA is completed.

Thanks Jim

Thought as I was a little tardy in installing Mageia 1 that was certain to be updates available.

Guess will have to just be a little more patient eh???

Thanks for the Link and explanation isadora

Although still a little confused after looking at MCC/Configure media and find that--->>>

HTTP
Core Updates are didtrib 1
NonFree Updtates are distrib 1
Tainted Udates are distrib 3

NonFree are - distrib 2
Tainted are distrib 3
Core updates are distrib 1

Mirror List
Core release are distrib 4
Core Updates are didtrib 6
NonFree Release distrib 14
NonFree Updates are distrib 16

Yet in every case there are higher distrib's

Would this have any effect and should I change any of them???

The numbers you mentioned "distrib33"... etc, are normal, it's just urpmi numbering the repos it added starting from 1 to 33, that numbering doesn't affect anything.

Although the word "distrib" doesn't look like the best choice of words here...

Is this numbering and the stuff in brackets really needed by something? Why not remove it altogether?

File a bug report against urpmi, something got broken along the way it used to use e.g. "Main Testing (Official2010.0-9)" (this is from a 2010.0 system). Now it just uses "distrib", something needs to be adapted to the Mageia changes in rpmdrake (namely gurpmi.addmedia, IINM).
