Workaround for DRM flash video?

Postby gotang » Sep 22nd, '13, 13:54

The Adobe flash player DRM requires HAL (http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1039743), which has been deprecated and removed, which means that things like 4oD (http://www.channel4.com/programmes/4od - possibly a UK-only link) can't be used. I tried grabbing old versions of hal, hal-info, lib64hal1, consolekit, policykit and lib64polkit2 from Mageia 2 repositories and installing them with dependancies disabled, but my flash player plugin just crashed when I tried it. Does anyone know of a workaround for this issue?
