I really think this is something that Mageia devs need to seriously consider if they haven't already. I find it very fascinating.

mm, Not read to much into it yet, but at the end of the day it still needs to be download and then run/launched . However all downloaded files don't have the execute bit set . you need to manually enable it.

You could have the most securest OS in the world but if a user says" yea ok, run that...yes yes yes " Its completely negated all inbuilt security.

P.S Will do some investigating on the matter though.
