Going to install Mageia, quick question. Compiz

So I am going to install Mageia. But first I need to know if the Gnome Desktop Version supports Compiz? If not I am going for the KDE desktop.

Yes it does.

But there is no need to choose between KDE and Gnome You can have them both.

Installing from the Live DVD only gives you one desktop but you can easily install more desktops later by installing the meta package task-kde4 or task-gnome. Or you could try task-xfce, task-e17, task-razorqt and more.

Installing from the Classic DVD allows you to choose multiple desktops at the same time. (Select 'Custom' at the desktop selection screen)
