You mean a CD/DVD burning application? Try k3b or brasero ...
And yes, CD/DVD drives are accessible ;)

Well, it's for burning or reading and converting what you want to be on or from optical media.

Uhmm, yes. As i've mentioned, it burns everything you want. Have you tried it yet?
