hello,
can someone help pls.. my wifi driver just stopped to work, i can not start it anymore:
error is:
ifconfig wlan0 up siocsifflags operation not possible due to rf-kill

my rfkill list:

0: hp-wifi: Wireless lan
Soft blocked: no
Hard blocked: yes


rfkill unblock all does not help.. Hard blocked is still yes can someone advice how to fix it? I am lost now.. thx

That means it is either blocked by a hardware switch or a Fn-key. You have to use an one of these to unblock the device.
for windows problems reboot; for linux problems be root

omg.. 1000 thanks to you.. yes.. I unblocked it with fn.. it would be nice to be able to unblock it with rfkill.. thx a lot .. ;-)
