[SOLVED] KDialog crashing with Google-Chrome in Mageia 2

Hi,

Versions of the programs in Mageia 2:
KDE 4.8.5
Google-Chrome 23.0.1271.95

Whenever I download PDF by clicking on save as on Google-Chrome the KDialog crashes. Is anyone having this problem? How to solved it?

Do you open the PDF within Chrome, and then press save button with the floppy icon in the lower right-hand corner?
Works just fine here, shows standard KDE filepicker, and lets me save the PDF.

Since when does this happen, and does it also happen with a new user?

Yes, I open PDF inside Google-Chrome. However, if I do the same procedure with the new user does not provide crashing. What can it be?

Perhaps it is on the way Google-Chrome invokes the KDialog and the fact that I have hundreds of folders and files in the Download directory!

As your old user where it crashes, move away/rename chrome settings ~/.config/google-chrome when chrome is not running. After that try again to see if it persists. If it persists, move your original settings in place again, and move away/rename /.kde4/share/config/kdialogrc and try again. If it still persists, remove/rename both together, and try again.
