[SOLVED] Files required for source install

Postby addr » Nov 9th, '12, 22:13

I am not familiar with Gnome and I was wondering if there was package containing essential files for installing something from source available.
I installed nitrogen yesterday but it was a long haul and I am sure I downloaded far too much stuff.
Is there something like Debian's build-essential?
Or could someone tell me what I need?
Thanks

Yep, what you want is probably task-c-devel or task-c++-devel which roughly equals build-essentials.
