mageia 2 boot hangs

I have mageia release 2 for x86_64 installed on Dell Latitude. On boot mageia hangs often and system must be hard restarted to get out of that state.
If we restart it again then the boot succeeds.
Config:
Processor -- Core i5 processor
Graphics -- Vendor: ‎Intel Corporation (Description: ‎2nd Generation Core Processor Family Integrated Graphics Controller , Media class: ‎VGA compatible controller)

Can anybody tell me if there is any known issue or if there is anything that I need to take care of?

Please press <Escape> key during boot, that way you'll see verbose boot messsages instead of the bootsplash graphic. And then please post the last messages before it hangs.
