DVDStyler -2.1

Postby XEON64 » Jan 19th, '12, 22:47

When I try to configure DVDStyler - 2.1 it returns one error: cannot find wxSVG.

My development install is default plus the files listed on the PiTiVi and Jokosher post.

All of the dependencies seem to be resolved except for the missing wxSVG.

Comment or Suggestions to solve the problem are welcome.

I'd suppose to install package "wxsvg" to resolve the problem.

Hello Alf:
I have found a wxGTK but no wxSVG.

Do you know if it is in the Mageia #1 repositories? or specifically what file would resolve this dependency.
Possibly this is related to Scalable Vector Graphics.

No, currently wxsvg is only available for Cauldron: https://wiki.mageia.org/en/Cauldron
You might take a look at the output in files like config.log which are produced during
configuration, and which tell you exactly for which files it looks, but fromlooking at the cauldron
dvdstyler package it needs wxsvg-devel packages, among others.

But dvdstyler would be a candidate to provide it as an update to Mageia 1 as it was present
for Mandriva 2010.2. I'll have a look what can be done about it.
Cauldron is not for the faint of heart!
