Now I'm past the zmsetup problem, all seemed simple. But it's not The system for adding cameras, in Firefox, seems simple enough, but all I get from it, when clicking on the camera name (outdoor3), is a window labelled "ZM - outdoor3 -feed - Mozilla Firefox". In a box, which looks like it should be displaying the video feed from the camera, which is definitely working, is a uniform deep red, with a small black box in the top left hand corner with white lettering saying outdoor3 and a time and date. If I click in the box, the time stamp disappears. Turning the camera off gives much the same window, but (naturally) nothing in the box. I tried changing the colour from 24 bit to 8 bit, and this time, the same but the colout is mid grey. In another insrtance of Firefox, I have the regular video feed coming from the camera without problems. I was following the advice of an article on how to setup ZoneMinder with a foscam, but that was on Kubuntu, and I don't think the advice applies to Mageia, in all respects.
