Configure IPA client on Mageia 4

We've recently decided to replace our lab computers from Ubuntu to Mageia 4. However, I couldn't find the ipa-client package on Mageia. And there is really nothing helpful found when google mageia 4 and ipa client.

Does anyone here know how to configure IPA client on Mageia 4 computers?

OK, if I can make openldap works on Mageia 4, it will fine too. So far, I've been editing the following files for ldap authentication:

/etc/openldap/ldap.conf
/etc/nslcd.conf
/etc/nsswitch.conf

I can see the users by run id username command, but I couldn't login with this username. The log says the user unknown, but I can see it's listed there. Why is that?

Would also be helpful to list the target you want to achieve, not only the steps which give you trouble currently.

For LDAP, you should first look into MCC: http://doc.mageia.org/mcc/4/en/content/drakauth.html
Then you may want to look at https://docs.fusiondirectory.org/en/doc ... p-mageia-3 until the installation of fusiondirectory.
