Sound ceases to work after about 40 minutes Mageia 4

Sound ceases after about 40 minutes. I did an online System upgrade from Mageia 3 to 4. I have to log off and on to get sound back. This happens when streaming a movie or in Skype call. It never happened with kernel 3.10. I have a Dual core Intel e5800 with built in sound card.

Any ideas?
