[SOLVED] Authenticate Mageia Samba server to Windows domain

Postby NickC » Jan 7th, '13, 18:25

Hi,

Anyone know if there are any documents about explaining how to link a Mageia Samba Server to a Windows 2012 Domain Controller? I am trying to setup Mageia so that Windows Users can authenticate against the user accounts on the Windows domain controller when sharing files on the Mageia Samba Server.

I have installed samba-domainjoin-gui but cannot see how to actually run that.

Thanks,
Nick

The binary is called /usr/sbin/netdomjoin-gui if you asked for that ...
