Postby roelof » Jan 3rd, '13, 18:15

Hello,

I want tp play with sqli-labs.
So I downloaded the files, installed mariadb and niqx as webserver.
Then I opened the first page where is a link where the database get populated.
But when I click on the link I get a popup where I get asked with which programm I want to open it.
But I don't see a choice where I can execute it.

How to solve this annyoning problem ?

What does the popup exactly say? Do you mean the link which is shown here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NJ9AA1_t1Ic&feature=player_detailpage#t=412s
Maybe you're missing a php interpreter? You probably need to install php-cgi

Hello,

The popup ask me what It schould do with the file I clicked.
And it is the link you ask me in the movie.

I have installed php-cgi but no avail.
I think that Nigx does not know about php.

Look if I can find how to solve it.

That's a good bet. You should look into the config files of both to see where their operating environments are, in apache this is called the "document root." Make sure the two are working in the same directory. Your web server is probably using something under /var, perhaps /var/www/ngix. Wherever it is, you might want to move the web server's doc root to where php is working.
