we have a dell xps8100 with 2 disks organised by dell on raid0

we use it with windows seven and mageia1 (64 )

when i try to update with 64 bits version DVD
the installation warns

extended partition : bad install magic number on disk sda

if i try to install the last version (mageia 1)
the install ask me if y want to use the bios raid0 software

i think that there is a bug in the new install version

ps no pb to install with the same dvd on other no raid disks on other computers

I found a similar bug not being able to see RAIDs properly on install, it's fixed (for me, anyway) now on nvraid systems with the Mg2 RC.
There was a very similar issue with the intel raid sets, not sure of the status on that one.

(search the bug reports)
