I keep getting error

nash-hotplug /proc/84/oom.adj is deprecated Please use /proc/84/oom_score_adj instead

then it goes to command prompt

any ideas

Is that with Mageia 1 or with Cauldron?
Also, what command prompt do you get, what does it say exactly?

My rather obvious question(it seems to me) is did you do a "md5sum -c" on the Magiea iso you downloaded?

Seems strange that all else is install but that(?).
