I run update/upgrade OS from cron. The problem occurred when the computer was turned off while performing an OS cron upgrade.
Unfortunately, the kernel was updated and the computer did not start again.
Of course, I can disable updates of the kernel or any other application, but I would like the upgrade to be performed automatically.
Is there any way to have the shutdown procedure check whether a system update is being performed and stop the computer from shutting down until the upgrade is completed?
Of course, the shutdown procedure can be started from the console, from the GUI or from the power button.
This functionality is in WIN (update and poweroff).
Is it possible to have something similar in the M9?
