I have the above machine that has a Volcanic Islands ATI GPU and although you can suspend it once, and it comes out very nicely, the second time it just freezes with a black screen. You can't even CTL-ALT-BACSKPACE.
I've looked around lots of non-Magiea Linux forums, tried various things for amdgpu coming out of hibernation, but nothing helps.
Is there any information I could give that clever people might be able to make sense of to help debug what needs doing.
I appreciate it may be that it will soimply never work because of poor graphics drivers, but it's worth a try.
I did see people on Arch forum saying they had tried this for devices using amdgpu:
EDIT: I added two items to the default /etc/mkinitcpio.conf:
MODULES=(amdgpu)
What is our equivalent to that please? That night be worth a try.
Thanks
