I recently installed a fresh copy of Mageia 7 running Plasma5, the classic 64bit ISO. Today I installed PekWM and ran it and when I log in, the login screen still appears as background image. Every time I click to bring up menus, a new window appears as if stuck. I opened xterm and tried clear the screen but only the xterm screen clears.

Any suggestions on how to fix this or should I write a bug report?

Can't reproduce here. Fresh mga7 VM, and pekwm only has a black background, and menu works normally.
As it's only a window manager, it can't even display a desktop background.

I had to set a background image, now it is working. By default, at the sign in screen, choose pekwm, I log in and the sign in screen still appears even though its running pekwm. Most Window Managers I have used will default to a blank screen until setup background image. For me, it didn't clear to a blank screen.

This is solved I guess.
