Dual-boot Mageia 7 and Windows 10 with UEFI secure boot

Postby ewilcox » Apr 26th, '20, 22:50

I have a Dell Insperion 5000 series Laptop with AMD A8 cpu. In order to install Mageia, I had to disable secure boot in setup. After installation all worked well until I re-enabled secure boot. How do I configure my system to allow Mageia to dual-boot with secure boot enabled? Any help is most humbly appreciated,

Ernie

You would have to manually install a shim bootloader that supports secure boot. See e.g. https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Se ... et_up_shim
