Hello, I have a problem with the update of the Mageia Mageia 4.1 to 5
Everything is in the title, this is the second time I meet this problem on two
different computers
the latest being a Notebook HP Pavilon DM1-4136SF
Dual core AMD E450
4GB Ram
Radeon HD 6320
wifi Broadcom 4313GN
This is an update made from the DVD specification 64bit without additional startup mirrors.
Near the end of the installation (missing around 80 packs) before access to the summary this error appears.
'Unpack' failed for kernel-desktop-3.19.8-3.mga5-1-1.mga5
It should be noted that by requesting an installation and not an update, I do not encounter this problem.
in general, I create for all of my installations:
a / boot 100 MB
a / 12GB
a / opt 5GB
a / home
I first got the message: "'unpack' failed for kernel-desktop-3.19.8-3.mga5-1-1.mga5"
After examining the bug report I could see that the / boot partition was too
small to install the latest kernel, so I erased the vmlinuz and initrd ancient
kernels and recovered from the square.
So the update continues, but now I have a new error:
system-config-printer-libs = 1.4.3-1.2.mga4 is needed by (installed) system-config-printer-1.4.3-1.2.mga4.x86_64
system-config-printer-udev = 1.4.3-1.2.mga4 is needed by (installed) system-config-printer-1.4.3-1.2.mga4.x86_64
foomatic is needed by (installed) system-config-printer-libs-1.4.3-1.2.mga4.x86_64
As I just fired all these kernels ...
Well: Here in attachments are the corresponding bug report; this time I'm not good enough to used it.
Ideally this would be to override the installation of the printer and install packages then quietly ...
Thank you for your suggestions
