BCM 4312 not working

Hello, I have made an switch from Mandriva Gnome 2010.2 to Mageia and now no wireless i am using mine laptop and that have an BCM 4312 wirelesschip branded Broadcomm how to get this working and where is the firmware for this chip.

You need to install dkms-broadcom-wl from the nonfree-repository.

I have tried the solutions as I have the same wireless BCM4312 - no connect what so ever. My solution was plugging in a rtl8187 device, known to work with all linux distros, but I hope the next Mageia fix the broadcom problems. :)

My next laptop will anyway be some linux friendly, i.e. thinkpenguin.com or similar.
