Computer: Dell C600 Laptop
OS: Mageia 1, fully patched
WiFi Card: Belkin PCMCIA with Broadcom 4318 chipset
Initially got this WiFI card working on this install using ndiswrapper and the Belkin Windows driver. Did this back with Mandriva so just continued this when installing Mageia.
WiFi worked fine until the most recent update which appears to have updated 7 packages including the kernel. This update was done on 25 Sept. using the WiFi connection. syslog shows the NDIS/Belkin driver loaded intially...and then after the update the Broadcm 43XX driver was loaded instead, effectively killing the WiFi operation. Went into MCC and told it to use ndis again and WiFi worked again with the system even remembering the security settings for our WLAN.
The portion of the syslog that shows the system loading the 43XX driver after update is below. Couldn't fit all from syslog showing ndis working, update, and then 43XX loading and WiFi not working due to space. If someone will remind me of a good site to post the entire piece of the syslog, I'll be happy to do that.

To me this falls under the category of breaking things with updates which is not good...to say the least.
Again just want to get comments and see if any other users had similar experience before posting a bug.
Thanks
