[Solved] Can't install

Postby justmonty » May 26th, '19, 18:55

after initial EFI installation and entering before setting up users I get a black window
which ask for user name and password.
I don;t know what it's looking for since this has not been setup yet, this just keeps looping back to main screen and the the black window again.
The user and password has not been set and I don't know what it's looking for!!!!!!
The only thing that I had to enter is the EFI boot password and confirm which i could by pass when I tried to install a legacy installation by passing EFI boot

it would be helpful to give some basic details of unit that you are unable to install to.

make and model and or link to manufacturers spec page.

Video adapter.

regards.

Edit: also which media are you installing from, Live or Classic?

Thank you for replying. The problem was the live dvd install. I downloaded the full dvd, and the installation
went perfectly. Again thanks for replying
