net applet

This could be due to specific hardware of Asus GL752, I had "working"(no touch pad, glitches with video) MGA 5 on it with kernel 4.15, all upgrades to 4.4 was making it unusable due to net applet not working correctly, same is now with MGA 6, if I start with wired connection it is fine, disconnecting wired and connecting wifi ends up with working wifi and net applet reporting "connecting" never showing connection info.
If I start without wired, the wifi is working there is no icon for net applet, in process list net applet has "disk sleep" status but in few minutes system slows down to not respond at all. Uninstalling net applet works fine, I just do not know why is tight up with drakconf.

No need to uninstall net_applet, better switch to networkmanager. I've described how to switch from Mageia's default net_applet to networkmanager here: viewtopic.php?f=25&t=5782

I have seen yours instructions, thanks.
When I tried to switch on my own I was able to connect with network manager but connection was dropped quickly and I could not connect after that, but the switch was not made properly I will try it again.
