Mageia on HP Pavilon X2 detachable

Postby plgeek » Mar 27th, '17, 14:14

Im the owner of HP x2 detachable laptop and Im fedup with Windows 10, which will not boot (even to rescue).

There is an option to boot from USB, so downloaded ISO, made bootable usb stick. On Mint box it boots and works.

On HP it prints the following:
Booting....
Media tickable. Aborting

And reboots into broken bootloader.

Which ISO did you download, and how did you write it to the usb stick, using what tool? And did you compare the checksum of the downloaded iso?
Also, does your system boot in UEFI or legacy mode?
