MATE terminal

MATE is my preferred desktop. After a reinstall, typing the letter "o" in a terminal acts as a command and brings up the terminal "Help". The letter does not appear in the terminal. It is starting to come back to me that I got around the problem before, by changing the keystroke defaults, but it shouldn't happen from inside the terminal in the first place.

Hi. Did you change default keyboard shortcuts systemwide or it just started to happen by itself? Would you mind to backup ~/.config/mate directory and delete old one and see if it helps?
