Unable to upload sketch to Arduino

Postby janpihlgren » Apr 25th, '15, 19:11

I use Mageia 4 x86_64 with 3.14.32-desktop-1.mga4,
I use Arduino Uno and Arduino Ethernet shield.
With the Arduino IDE 1.0 installed from Mageia it is unable to compile, code error.
I the installed Arduino IDE 1.6.3 in a my own direktory ( /home/jan/Program1) and started the IDE wich lauched OK.
I the choosed the WebServer sketch.
Port = /dev/ttyACM0
Programmer = AVRISP mkII

Then I tried to upload the sketch. As I think it compiles OK but couldn't load to Arduino.
I get the following message:
Sketch uses 12612 bytes (39%) of program storage space. Maximum is32 256 bytes.
Global variables use 552 bytes (26%) of dynamic memory, leaving 1496 bytes for local variables. Maximum is 2 048 bytes.

When I do this with th Arduino connected to Raspberry Pi it works OK.
But for my comfort I whish to use my PC with Mageia to do the work.
What do I have to do to?

Installed 1.6.4 (nightly)(64-bit)
I get the following errormessage:
Arduino:1.6.4 (Linux), Kort:"Arduino Uno"

Build options changed, rebuilding all
Cannot run program "{runtime.tools.avr-gcc.path}/bin/avr-g++" (in directory "."): error=2, Filen eller katalogen finns inte

This report would have more information with
"Show verbose output during compilation"
enabled in File > Preferences.
So no success.
