[SOLVED] ICA-Client and FireFox browser

Postby dogbert0360 » Jun 8th, '13, 17:09

First let me say hello to everyone as I'm a new Mageia user. So far I'm truly liking it and seems to be a rock solid operating system.

My problem is with Citrix Reciever and FireFox. I'm getting a SSL error and can't figure how to correct it. I installed the necessary softwares ( ica-client, libopenmotif, openmotif ) and I think that I configured it correctly but maybe I may have missed something.

Can anyone help me to figure out what I missed?

You probably need to install/copy the relevant SSL certificate into the keystore of citrix receiver (probably somewhere below /opt) as it doesn't use system certificates.
Check http://tempero.us/2013/02/ubuntucitrixtrust/ or https://help.ubuntu.com/community/CitrixICAClientHowTo

Thank you so much doktor5000 !

I tried the first link which suggested that I click on the security lock left of the https: in the address bar of Firefox. I did what the article said which was to save the information as a .crt file and then copy it to the citrix/icaclient/keycertificate folder.

Worked like a charm and again many thanks. Mageia is simply the best!!!! Will there be an update for FireFox anytime soon?

Please mark the thread accordingly by editing the topic of the first post and prefix it by [SOLVED], thanks.

For Firefox, as Mageia uses the ESR branch, 17.0.6 is the latest. You may want to look at https://wiki.mageia.org/en/Mageia_2_Rel ... il_clients which still applies in general.
