Akonadi and MySQL

I already have running MySQL on my host and wanted to add Akonadi database to other databases and to use MySQL programs from /opt/lampstack directory, not from the default /usr/bih that Akonadi requires. Where can I change Akonadi preferences to turn it to work with my database server?
