Laptop Not Sleeping after Ctrl-Alt-Backspace

Hi All,
I'm having a problem where my lenovo laptop is not sleeping after I hit ctrl-alt-backspace. When I perform a top, kded4 is using 100% CPU. I believe that this is where the problem lies as the daemon process for when the lid is closed is probably not running or can't be picked up by kded4. There are several daemons that kded4 monitors. Is there a simple way to figure out which daemon or module is causing the kded4 to use 100% CPU? At first I believed it to be the nepomukservice as this was also using quite a bit of CPU cycles. However, I disabled this and the problem still persists.

Uhmm, Ctrl+Alt+Backspace restarts the X-Server, why should it go to sleep?
And when does kded4 consume 100% cpu, after you press Ctrl+Alt+Backspace or after you close the lid and reopen it?

I often use dual monitor mode with my laptop. Sometimes after I resume, it is not functioning as I expected. This is where I issue Ctrl-alt-backspace. After the X-Server is restarted I realize that if I close the lid, the system doesn't go to sleep. When I check the processes with top command, I realize that kded4 is using 100% CPU. I will need to restart for the suspend functionality to resume working. I then decided to test it before anything weird happens. So I restarted the system, tested that the suspend works, then after I resume I hit ctrl-alt-backspace. Then I attempt to sleep again, however I see it isn't sleeping, and the kded4 is using 100% CPU. Thus I came to the conclusion that after I hit ctrl-alt-backspace, one of the daemons working with kded4 may not be working after restart the X-Server with the keyboard sequence.
