[DONE]new flashplayer updates not installing

The new flashplayer updates in MCC for flashplugin are not installing in MCC on my system. Anyone else having same problem? I'm running dual boot system with upgraded Mageia 5 and Win 7
At present I've got Firefox with Chromium installed due to previous flash problems with Firefox. Is the Chromium installation causing this problem?

Why are they not installing, there surely has been an error message? Chromium has nothing to do with that, and also does not support such plugins anymore, see viewtopic.php?f=7&t=8568 for detailed information.
Please show the output of
Code: Select all
urpmq --sources flash-player-plugin

Code: Select all
[root@localhost gch3]# urpmq --soources flashplayer-plugin
Unknown option: soources
No package named flashplayer-plugin

Updates are showing in MCC and everything appears normal on marking and installing except the install goes unusually fast. The install icon then comes up orange and if you try to exit it asks if you want to install marked items, however the mark is not there as it disappears as normal on first install attempt. Maybe a problem with MCC but I haven't tried to install anything else since the upgrade from 4 the other day and all initial updates installed flawlessly.

You made a typo in the command that doktor5000 asked you to execute. You can avoid such mistakes by clicking the "Select All" above the Code box and then pasting into a terminal.

Code: Select all

Good catch Jim, however MCC shows these two un-installed and won't install them, go figure.Makes switching to Chromium a pain for flash related items, I'd rather have just Firefox. Other than that the new Mageia 5 is running really smoothly and was the easiest to install yet.

Please show the output as root of
Code: Select all
urpmi flash-player-plugin

May be an issue with your mirror.

Ummmm, Same package as showing in MCC but it installs in Konsole. Could be a mirror issue. I've installed other packages since this first cropped up with no problem now.
Thanks for the feedback guys.
