[SOLVED] Extra-Background - Mageia 5

[SOLVED] Extra-Background - Mageia 5

Hi,
I installed mageia-theme-extra package in Mageia 5 and were installed 18 wallpapers:

    Code: Select all
              /usr/share/mga/backgrounds/Extra-Background-001.jpg
                /usr/share/mga/backgrounds/Extra-Background-002.jpg
                /usr/share/mga/backgrounds/Extra-Background-003.jpg
                /usr/share/mga/backgrounds/Extra-Background-004.jpg
                /usr/share/mga/backgrounds/Extra-Background-005.jpg
                /usr/share/mga/backgrounds/Extra-Background-006.jpg
                /usr/share/mga/backgrounds/Extra-Background-007.jpg
                /usr/share/mga/backgrounds/Extra-Background-008.jpg
                /usr/share/mga/backgrounds/Extra-Background-009.jpg
                /usr/share/mga/backgrounds/Extra-Background-010.jpg
                /usr/share/mga/backgrounds/Extra-Background-011.jpg
                /usr/share/mga/backgrounds/Extra-Background-012.jpg
                /usr/share/mga/backgrounds/Extra-Background-013.jpg
                /usr/share/mga/backgrounds/Extra-Background-014.jpg
                /usr/share/mga/backgrounds/Extra-Background-015.jpg
                /usr/share/mga/backgrounds/Extra-Background-016.jpg

After install, I rebooted the machine and tried to change the wallpaper in KDE, Gnome 3 and Gnome Classic, but does not appear these new options, only two standard wallpapers. Does anyone have any tips?

Yes you need to add kde this to your kdeglobals normal user.

vim ~/.kde4/share/config/kdeglobals
[Directories]
dir_wallpaper=/usr/share/mga/backgrounds

@ozky,
I did different. I don't know edit with Vim. I opened the kdeglobals file with the kwrite. I copied the text that you suggested and pasted at the end of kdeglobals file.
It worked very well.

    Note:I opened the bug 16181 to propose add to mageia-theme-extra package these fixes permanently, and for these extras wallpapers become also visible in GNOME and other desktop environments.

Yes i suggest vim because it's just easy to do it with vim but can use any text editor you prefer.
To do this automatically it will need to add it to Mageia kde config file to get it to all users,thx you filed bug as i have no idea how to do this with gnome.
