Hello

I got the following error l or to on my update.

Some package can't be installed
gvfs-1.22.3-2.mga5.i586 because there is a conflict with gvfs-1.22.3-2.mga5.x86_64

(translation by myself from french message)

The installer ask me then if I want to continue the install or to discard.

I clicked on discard, but the installer always loop back to this popup.
As I'm in install I guess, I can't open drake-rpm neith the MCC.

I think we have a major issue here... installation can't be stopped even after few minutes...

First things first, how and from what media did you attempt the upgrade as you mentioned the installer.
Also, after a reboot you tried to run mgaapplet-upgrade-helper. Why the reboot and what did you change on your system up to this point?

Also do you try to upgrade i586 system with x86_64 repos/media or vice versa? I think your issues are expected then.

My problem doesn't exist anymore, I cleared my laptop totally in the meantime to install MGA 5.

I had a 64 bit installation for DVD on MGA4 and I clicked simply on upgrade. The first step were performed, including the upgrade of QT.
I got this error and I managed to get out of the instllation process. Then, I couldn't come back on it and I tried to uninstall this package.

Finally, I rebooted the computer to be sure that nothing was unstable on it I'm usually puting it in sleep mode. Sometimes that help to put service back as they should be. (old windows reflex, but still valid / faster often on linux)

Regarding the upgrade, I had a 64 bits arch, with 32 bits lib installed as well. I got this error on the graphical ugrade from internet. I had no USB / DVD created at this time.

Whatever, ther initial error is not a problem, but the fact you cannot run the installation software because it's not compatible with QT anymore... is one big I think.
