Hi there,

what desktop environment and Mageia version do you use? Also, how did you try to configure the keyboard layout?
Via MCC http://doc.mageia.org/mcc/4/en/content/ ... drake.html or via the means of your desktop environment?

I have KDE and Mageia 4. I tried both but still can't solve it, also I can't either solve the problem about the Japanese input

Please be more specific. What exactly means "still can't solve it"? Does that mean if you select a different keyboard layout,
say an English one, that this keyboard layout will not be effective? Also you did not answer the previous question, how did you try to configure the keyboard layout and how did you try to add japanese layout?
FWIW, latam keyboard layout is actually short for latin america, can you please provide a link with an explanation to what this keyboard layout for Japaese should actually do?
Also please provide a screenshot how you select japanese and latam keyboard layout in localedrake.

In general you need to select your language/country in MCC via localedrake, and for some languages an additional input method (IM) is necessary and proposed by localedrake. E.g. scim, ibus, pinyin, anthy or similar.
This is described in http://doc.mageia.org/mcc/5/en/content/ ... put_method
