[solved]Change user icons / faces in KDE

Where are the user icons stored? I want to add an icon to the list, and kde systemsettings won't allow me to change it from there, and Mageia Control Center will only allow you to scroll through the default icons, not choose a custom one.

Thanks!

You can find a lot of icons in /usr/share/icons

Maybe try to use .png icons.

Ah, it's the bug that probably was affecting me, I wasn't trying in kdepassword. Thanks.

So, were you able to change the user icon now?

Haven't actually had time to boot that pc to test. Been busy with work and trying to clean up all the filth that collected on my cars after 2 weeks of setting under a tree while I was in cancun.

Got to boot this evening after work. It does change it on login, although oddly if you look at the user in "login" settings, it still shows the original colored profile picture that is choosable by default, not the custom picture I set. However, at the KDM login screen, it does have my custom image correctly.
