[SOLVED] kernel updates incorrect

Postby gch3 » May 3rd, '15, 04:31

Got situation where I'm recieving updates on Mageia 4 kernel for i586 system with less than 4 gb memory and have 16 gb system x86 64. Can't make installation anyway due to conflicts with flgrx updates for system and previous installs. Do I wait for an up-date for x86 64 system to show up or is something else going on and if so how do I fix it?

Which particular update would that be?
Please show the output as root of
Code: Select all
urpmi --auto-update --test

Thanks for the reply Doc.
It was the kernel update to 3.14.39-1, I solved the problem by finding the correct module on RPM search. I tried auto update and it didn't come up at that time there either, go figure. But everything is back to normal now. :)
