LXDE Desktop Enviroment

DE probably stands for desktop environment so I'm probably guilty of reparation. I've changed the desktop environment I use from KDE to LXDE, I was expecting the HP bluetooth mouse I have to work, but it doesn't. Cheese doesn't either. I assume that's because LXDE hasn't a driver for either the camera or the bluetooth adapter. It is fast though.

Drivers for bluetooth or your camera are independent from the desktop environment used.
For the bluetooth mouse you probably need some bluetooth applet to pair it under LXDE.

hmm. I could install M4 with LXDE as the environment then I wouldn't make assumptions like that?

Sorry, I don't understand what you're trying to tell.
