[UPDATED] Touchpad stops working after suspend

UPDATE: Filed a bug report. https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=15149

I'm running Mageia 5 Beta 2 with kernel 3.18.3-2. When I suspend, the touchpad stops working. The touchpad uses the hid_multitouch module. I've tried running "rmmod hid_multitouch" then "modprobe hid_multitouch" after suspending, but that doesn't work (it works if I do it without suspending). I've also tried using "xinput disable 12" and "xinput enable 12" with the same result (doesn't work after suspend, but it works otherwise). Is there anything else I can try?

For completeness's sake and also to allow others to follow up on that bug report, please also post the link to it in the thread next time, thanks ;)

Think I saw an issue for a similar touchpad recently. But http://askubuntu.com/questions/531360/t ... untu-14-04
only talks about it not being recognized at all or not all features working as expected.
