Disabling active corners [Solved]

Postby rodgoslin » Nov 7th, '14, 17:36

After a rebuild, this is another funvtion that I do not need or want on my system. If I inadvertantly allow the cursor to stray into the top left hand corner of the screen, the entire screen will 'explode' into smaller versions of all open applications. The only way to dismiss this aberration is either to drift the cursor over any of the smaller version and then move back to the corner. Or click on the one screen which was current. There used to be a setting for active corners, which I can no longer find. How, please, do I consign this malign function back to the hell it came from?

It would be appreciated if you would minimise your cursing.

In KDE in systemsettings -> workspace behaviour -> screen edges click on the top left corner and select your desired setting.

And please note it down for the future so you don't need to curse about it again.

Thank you,. Your advice worked. However, on my earlier attempts to eradicate the effect, I had found the relevant site, and at that time the top left corner was indicated as "no action", despite the action, in fact, being in effect. This time, however it did work and the problem is solved. I shall take note of your comment, re- cursing, but the comment, in English is not a form of cursing, merely an assumptioon for effect.
