[DONE]newbie:mouse not working in konsole...

Strange I noticed only recently that the mouse in my system does not work...
it was very useful in certain occasion. Tryed through MCC or System setting but either I do not know what to look for or I do not understand how to change.
Any help to find a way to get the mouse working in CLI environment is welcomed...
:D

Do you mean in konsole or in a tty?

If the mouse works in KDE, it should work inside konsole - I've never heard of it not. Check konsole - Settings - Edit current profile - Mouse.

To have mouse support in a tty, install gpm.

And start gpm afterwards if you want to use it immediately ;)
Code: Select all
urpmi gpm
systemctl start gpm

Wish this was installed by default to be honest.

@Pete: I've suggested that some months back, when it was discussed if mcedit should be added to default installations.
Just bumped that topic again, see https://ml.mageia.org/wwsympa-wrapper.f ... 00980.html
