Does the mageia image support USB sticks?

Postby tlmiller » Apr 11th, '11, 20:48

I'm downloading the image, and I'd like to try out Mageia, but I long ago stopped using DVD's. I have USB sticks that I can put it on if it supports it though. Just need to know if it does, and what method to use (as in, Debian you can just cat ISO > /dev/your_disk, Mepis you have to isohybrid ISO, then dd if=ISO of=/dev/your_disk, OpenSuse works through dd_rescue ISO /dev/your_disk, etc.)

The alpha 1 DVD worked with dd
I think that all the disks should work with it.

The Beta1 definitely works with dd.
That's what I used. :)
