Google Earth has caught signal 11.

This app has worked before and I have plenty of data points.

Which few other packages did it install?
Code: Select all
rpm -qa --last | head -100
and post the ones that were installed together with google earth here.
Maybe you simply need to manually install some of the 32bit packages mentioned in some of the odler threads: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=76

But from the lower log excerpt it looks to be some issue with certificate verification. So if it doesn't work, complain to google. There are numerous threads about similar issues:
https://productforums.google.com/forum/ ... dpeDIwJdko
https://productforums.google.com/forum/ ... Mfsn9F5JYJ

edit doktor5000: in fact, surprinsingly similar errors appear in the posts following this one: viewtopic.php?p=42999#p42999

Quoting on the particular error messages from a chromium bug report:

https://groups.google.com/a/chromium.org/forum/#!msg/chromium-bugs/QnZpYjcIJJ8/1lcBq_khD1EJ wrote:Thanks for filing this bug report. The error being reported, -8181,
corresponds to a certificate being marked as expired
(SEC_ERROR_EXPIRED_CERTIFICATE). You should be seeing an error message to
that effect, that the certificate is expired.

A surprisingly common cause of this is when the system clock has been
changed or is no longer accurate or the server administrator has allowed
the certificate to expire.

FWIW, I did try searching various combinations of 'google' & 'earth' but it was probably the next one that I didn't try. I'll check those other links, too - 'tanx!
