(Solved) XFCE Issue?

System Specs: Memory 1 GB, Pentium Processor: 2 Mhz: 50 GB hard drive - this is an older Dell Lap Top.

I loaded the XSFE configuration files to change the desk top from KDE to xsfe. KDE was using up to much RAM.
The problem is that after I boot up the machine and log on, the blue fire circle the rolls around the pointer arrow will never stop.

I opened ksysguard and I do not see any abnormal memory or cpu usage. Right mouse click does not work on the desktop either.
I've rebooted, I started up with KDE and updated what few xsfe files I could find. When I go to change the desktop background, it will not change.
When I open a web page browser, I am unable to close it. The menu bar at the top of the screen of the browser will not work.

Any recommendations would be appreciated. I am stuck.

Thanks!

I got it fixed.

I had to reinstall and start over. I opened a session with KDE desktop, deleted all the xsfe files. I then rebooted and reinstalled said files; it was a no go. So a fresh install was in order. It' called learning I guess.

The on thing I failed to mention is that during the time that I was downloading the xsfe files, I had an internet interruption. I believe this caused the problem.

Thanks for the help!
